To my dearest Pontens..

I can say I haven been with you peeps all the time, but i've at least been able to say tat I have at least seen through some of ur trainings, and of cos during the FOcamp itself. In short, I can only say that you peeps did really well, and I hope tat it'll not be jus a one-off thing with ur families, but also continue when the school semester begins. I miss you guys already, I miss school, and I miss the days at the club. Maybe one day all of us should have a gathering(dingdangs and ponten) and go out have lunch or something together. Also, pls do continue to be down at the club often k? I also hope ur kias will drop by somehow or another if they're free!

I guess I've said all that i wanted to say. School reopens in lik 2-3weeks... I jus cant wait. The hols have been frutiful, but I believe when school reopens, there'll surely be more exciting things to come.

im sure you havent heard from me in a while,
most of us have been busy w itp, cip, trips overseas.
i just wanna say, jia you for your FO camp k!

im sure that what i say now wont help much,
since i wasnt able to meet yall during the times im in school.
considering that by the time i reach club at around 5plus 6,
you guys are already home or have ended trainings (:
before long, ive gone to thailand, having my OCIP.
which, im sure, most of the DingDangs have their own itp to do.

i dont wanna know if what ive heard from a senior is true,
but i do hope that none of these would actually cause
silly misunderstandings and nitty gritty grudges
to be held between the 07/08 and 08/09 batch of GLs.
that would definitely be so immature of both sides.
whatever really happened, i cant be too sure,
since ive been away most of the times.
but from what ive heard is that
mark, cindy and some others have clearly taken time off
to go down to help the GLs weekly.

you will never understand what we have gone through as GLs of year 07/08 until you've been through it with us FIRST-HAND. it is not just by going through the blog, that will "enlighten" you on our daily trainings and bondings. it takes more than just reading the blog. its about allowing people to help. even if it means letting go of your pride and more importantly, ARROGANCE. i sincerely hope that you guys have not undermined our trainings by thinking that the blog explains it all. for it does not. advice from a world of ten is not, and will not be advice if it comes from only ONE person all along. we are there and we always have been. its only a matter of whether you stretch out your hand for help or not. im sure Mark and Cindy have been down ever so often, have you turned to them so far? or did you just turn them away? search yourselves.

you have your well wishes from us, DingDangs,
a piece of advice from us is that
you learn to listen to not just one but all those who have been through it before.

Dear Little World of Ten,

Its been tough on ITP session and working, please continue on with faith and strength from the higher powers to finish the ITP. I know its tough and tiring but 2 months is not long nor short, treasure the time with your colleagues and come back a better person.

I know people have been saying and criticizing about me passing on the baton, which is the GL blog but i did it for a reason and i believed we have agreed on it long time ago, its not a bad idea neither. Its our memories stored in the virtual space but as time passes by, no one will come and appreciate or glance at our past moments. If you are gonna say, its meant for only the ten of us then i have nothing to say but this blog exist also as a guide for future GLs in constructing a better leadership team that will scale great heights. they will in time be better by learning from us and other GLs of various batch and no surprise they will surpass us but why not, we are forever the might GLs of 07/08 and that it will be.

As time passes by, we will always have a familiar URL link that we can think of visiting again and again, www.omgitsthegls.blogspot.com . Not only can we read and recollect the past memories we have been together, we can even check out what the current batch are doing.

I can still remember omgitsthegls, OMG!! ITS THE GLs!!! Linus's crazy idea spark this great idea of creating a blog. Many sad stories and happy moments caught and posted up there. But it died down after FO camp, not only did the entries became too little to count( TLTC, For too little bacteria count on the agar plate), the chatbox is collecting dust with minimal tags. So have we been too busy to blog or did the blog just became hot for the sake of FO? No comments but by injecting new blood during FO period we can see even more post of what our kias are doing. You all too can blog so we shall just make this blog hot and fired up and never let it die down.

I just want to know i love this little world, dont get any wrong ideas and start making comments about me, about being irresponsible, not discussing with you all, gay, whatever. This is for the greater good, if you really dont like the things i do, please approach me, tell me with reason so i can reflect and start making amends, my heart is fragile and cant take any strong words.

Lastly i am going to say, GLs of 08/09, please make full use of past experiences by DingDangs and use them to the greatest extend, you all can surpass us, why not? Be the next batch of wonderful GLs that GLs 09/10 can look up upon to, by that time we will long gone, but the spirit stays on OMGITSTHE GLS blog.

Had a ball of fun yesterday. And reached home around midnight. Didn't even feel like school has started. Still having fun the Ding Dang way. Anyway, yesterday we had our own mini mooncake celebration at some freaking quiet park sans mooncake for me because I don't eat those super sweet and fattening chinese goodies.

Besides eating mooncakes for the rest, lighting up lanterns and stupid a whole lot of stupid stunts. Ding Dangs relieved our DD days by dancing our dance, singing our cheers and learning the Jedi Knight's dance.

this is the song on my blog. (in case many of you are wondering..) when i listened t it, it reminded me about my life. so far, my life as a GL, my family, my friends.. it touched my heart, it made me cry. BUT FIRST. MY RULES FOR THIS ENTRY "YOU CAN ONLY SMILE, LAUGH, AND ANYTHING BUT NOT CRY." once you observe this simple rule, do continue scrolling down. thank you :D

all the days spent in training up for FO.. it is not over. yes. i said "not" not "now". yes you heard me right. "not over" (: cos we still have many days t catch up, even more ppl t join us for dinner and outings.. this time, it wouldnt only be the ten of us having dinner, our kias would be here with us for dinner! im glad and im awaiting those days where by id see our kias in the foodcourts, eating tgt, chilling and hanging out. teehee.

nope, im not gonna miss the little world of ten. because i know i dont have t! we will be meeting up every now and then.. even if we dont, we have each other in our sneaky little hearts. our two whole months of training tgt, meeting each other, seeing each other's faces til we know one another thoroughly.. and even knowing the days of our menses. (yes, girls, we are all irregular. now we dont feel insecure. TEEHEE) boys having their dota meeting and mahjong sessions every time (:

i woke up early this morning tdy thinking "oh shite.. today cannot be late for GL training. 10 am must reach school. cannot miss the bus ah.." and when i woke up, i realised there's no FOcamp! then after that i went back t sleep again. the next time i woke up, i was thinking "ohkay char! stay awake, keep your eyes open. look awake!! go go go! go wake the kias!" then i realised i was at home on my bed.

2 months of training and meeting up for chillings will not just fade away like that im sure. the hard work we've put in, its just like going for some major performance.. cramming everything in and having only a short span of time t showcase whatever youve learnt or prepared. however, whatever it is, no matter how well or badly we felt we fared, it is up t the judges t decide. and the judges are not the OC, the GMs, the AllStars nor the Seniors. the judges are the campers, our kids (:

im proud of my little world of ten! from the first day we met, strangers from different departments, barely knowing each other.. i had never imagined that we could end up being as close as we are now. however, we did it. (: and im glad. mahjong sessions and eating sessions.. the support and care and concern we got from each other. however much squabbles during gametrials, whatever we had, im glad we had our patience tested, strong and well.. the period of strain between several of us. how we managed t overcome it. t prep camp excitement.. thinking about the shit we've gone through tgt made me smile.

many a time, digressing and digesting.. not getting t the main points of the camp. always making our seniors worry.. so much so we kinda get worried ourselves. as the days get nearer the pressure on us t perform is there. girls broke down at times, boys became abit impatient and irritable. each of us having our fair share of tears and troubles. however, we rose t the occasion didnt we? HEHS. i suppose we were too tired t think about anything at night. staying up working on our photoframes, trying t complete everything.. making sure the kias are all well and healthy. thinking about all of their safety.

laogongs and laopos did well in supporting each other, covering up each others backside and cleaning up the shit others left behind.. cheering for each other, helping each other's team get high. we had the bestest time getting the guys t chop wood, watching the guys set the wood on fire (sneakily) in the bball court.. and even trying t hide our logs in club carefully! our axe getting confiscated by the bangala and given t uncle david. with the oth and weijian helping us get them back.. imitating uncle david's nasal voice.. TEEHEE. our blood (lawrence), sweat, blisters, laughter, frustration and all the other sneaky little things.. AWWW.. i think id never be able t find another world of ten with each of our own unique personalities. :D

as for captain's ball. we have trained hard. :D im proud of every one of us cos DingDangs, we gave our best in everything. especially in captain's ball, like what edmund and cindy mentioned. it was our last chance.. t bring pride t our kias and ourselves. however, we are glad that we have improved. from ten ppl, out of which only 3 had experience in captains ball while the rest of us are total noobs in catching balls and passing around.. heehee. i for one started out screaming whenever a ball came into my possession. now, its a different game play.

the match between the GLs and the GMs was tense. i daresay it was a rough match. it was a test of our patience and stamina. t us, it was a chance t show ourselves that the amount of effort we put in training in the bball courts in the afternoons and evenings would not be in vain. and yes. we proved ourselves. because even though we lost, in our own sneaky little world of ten, we have done ourselves proud.

i saw kelly being blocked by the GMs because she was mainly immobile (having sprained her ankle a month ago, she hasnt had the time t go see the doc nor let it recover). however, she still continued on strong.. angela was being pushed around and being slammed by the boys.. mark was banged, linus was pushed.. huatjin was injured by one of the GMs but he still carried on. this isnt because of individual pride. it was because he didnt wanna let the Ding Dangs and the kias down. with all the kias cheering and cheering for their papa mamas, all i could do was t stand aside cheer for the team. and not let anyone see the tears streaming down my cheeks.

tears welled in my eyes as we neared the end of the day. many a times i controlled myself. sometimes, i had no choice but tears just welled when i was alone. be it because of the kia's morale, because of the arrangement or because of any one of my kias. i was touched by my kias and the kias of other groups as they cared so much for us DingDangs mama and papa. i felt really loved whenever they made me drink up too.

id ask my kias t drink up and one of them would pass a bottle t me and say "mummy, drink up too! (:" or when eating.. they'd go "you should eat as much as you worked.. dont worry" and during the BBQ when they actually forced me t eat the food. there and then, my heart melted. tears auto fill my eyes. AND NO. I DONT CRY. (: arent you all proud of me! :D there was even a point when one of my kias had t go home due t urgent family matters. and the entire group of boys turned back t hug him before he left. all these small little things, although all you ppl our there may think its just a simple hug, a simple action, it mean alot of us papa mamas when we see our kias like that. im proud of my group.

the feeling of attachment have grown in me deeply even though its a 3day2night camp. attachment toward my group and some of the other campers. ive got mixed feelings now and no i dont want you all t cry when you all read this. i want yall t smile at the memories we had. from the reserved beginnings of our little world of ten, t the times where we sat tgt at the memorial for sneaky little chats, t the many dinners that make me grow fat, t the many mahjong session that i keep losing in, t the period of tension and strain, t the gametrial and tough tides, t the prepcamp excitement t the REAL thing.

all these are memories. memories im sure each and everyone of us will keep. im relieved, glad, sad.. at the same time, excited for the post-FO period. is this the feeling that the seniors have told us about? ive never thought much about it when they mentioned "your life will seriously take a turn after youve gone through FO." i thought it was a statement of encouragement. especially when it came from my LAOPAH. (: however, ITS DAMN TRUE. i actually understand the feeling. it is exactly like being done with a huge performance.

even though they say, in the hierarchy, the GLs are even lower than the freshies. i know for sure, i do not regret taking up the post as a GL in this camp. MAY THE DINGDANGS LAST FOREVER AND EVER, TIL THE END OF TIME!

Like what Edmund said,there might be people who are relieved that it was.

But for Ding Dangs and for me especially I feel so sad that it ended. I want more more more more!!!

Haha, too bad we didn't invite a proper photographer to capture ALL our happy, sad and even angry moments with each other. I am now listening to Char' blog song as I am typing this. Its a damn emo song. I feel like I have graduated from school or something. You know, that type of feeling.

That type of feeling is just undescribable. Ding Dangs we must drop by club everyday after school ok? I hope we can replay those past two months where we have been training so hard.

Even OC meetings, I don't mind attending them again. Discussing about camp issues, laughing along at Kenneth' supe cold jokes and even at times being screwed by seniors. I want more more more.

I remember that at times in camp. I really wanted to break down. But thank god there was lao gong and even you guys to cover my asses for me. Especially at campfire, I was so desperate. And I screamed and shouted so much that night that I spoilt my voice. But all of you all were such sweet darlings. The girls were like telling me Cindy Jia You Cindy Jia You and the guys took the lead in shouting when they felt that my voice really cannot make it le.

Thank you Ding Dangs, thank you so much. Its at times like this when you feel you are not alone. Its so comforting to know there are people out there supporting you. I love you all so much. I really mean it.

Even when you were playing captain ball, I didn't know why. But tears just filled my eyes. The tears that I thought I have controlled so well. It just filled up my eyes in court. It was then that I knew you guys were really a part of my life. Seeing you all playing so hard for our own and kias honour. When I heard, that lao gong's leg got injured and heard char's description of the agony on his face, and when I saw Kelly being pushed by Team GM, saw Angela got body slammed by the male players. I just couldn't stop it. I went aside and cried and cried.

And when I saw you guys playing so hard, I knew I cannot stand by the side slacking. I screamed and shouted, screamed and shouted. Tears streaming as I did so. I am just so touched by all of you all.

I wanted to apologise for not telling you guys about it then. I have my reasons, if you were all around me who would be with the kias, you guys are also tired enough. As long we know that we played fair and square, it's good enough. I appreciate all that you have done. We know best what we did.

I am so happy to be one tenth of Ding Dang, all the bickerings with family over staying too late outside. Who cares, its for a cause well deserved. Thank you once again for leaving such deep footprints in my life. I think I will never ever forget it, even as I age.

Ding Dangs, please remember to bring your shoes too tomorrow because we will be playing captain ball and its better if we are in proper running gear because I know most of your slippers are slippery besides, if it rains then it would be more slippery.

And trust me, the parents must never be injured before the kids do. Understand? so please bring shoes for safety sake.

HEY DING DANGS!!

This is perhaps the last update before prep camp tomorrow. I will be talking about the schedule and what to wear and stuff so that you can go and pack the clothes.

There is a slight change in schedule. Instead of breaking camp after captain ball right, we will have lunch and there will be one more circuit game plus wet slope after lunch so that means we will be breaking camp at evening.

So here's a rough guide for what the hell will be going on during FOCamp.

As I mentioned above the schedule that I typed above is a ROUGH guide. Hencem there might be some variations in the schedule. But I can assure you that the variations are minimal. Trust me.

Ok, now lets talk about what we are gonna wear and pack for prep camp and camp. For the first day right when freshies come, we are gonna wear our GL tee.

After which we changed clothes to our unwanted clothes because we are playing the school games and can get damn dirty. After that we wash up and wear whatever clotehs we want to.

Then for outdoor games right, we are gonna wear the same noob shirt as the frehies. We are gonna wear the FOCamp shirt.

For last day captain ball, we are gonna wear back our GL tee because it is easier to differentiate us. Then after that we change back to another set of unwanted clothes cos there will be wet slope and after the last circuit game right we wash up and wear the club tee as a finale.

Any problems so far? If you all have right, you all can call me up. I will furnish you guys with more details.

SO tommorrow we are meeting to brush up on our dance, complete the photo frames and go to Clarke Quay to recee. I know that the gms that side they got some intersting plans such a movie marathon but we GLs need our sleep. So I suggest that you all bettr get some sleep. You all know yourself if you dont gte enough sleep la huh. I dont need to say much.

Me and lao gong gg to sch eralier at 9am to complete our frames cos e still got quite alot of stuff undone. Those who are worried about their photos frames can come ealier too. COs he opening the club for us.

For tonight guys, please pack what is necessary then turn in early. PLEASE. Tommorrow is a busy day and so will the next three days. Those who are sick remember to bring your medicines along with you in the camp ah.

Hey guys, sorry for not making it for trainin today! kinda miss you guys, slacking and sleepin the whole today! grr.. i guess i really havent been giving time off for myself.. I din tell the doc anything, but even he can deduce tat i m suffering from intense fatigue.. I din noe doctors are pro till the extent of deducing somebody`s fatigue level! Anyway, I will be joining you guys for trainin tomolo.. dun fret.. bet all of you guys missed me rite? AND I MISS YOU, LAOPO!! =)

Everyone has his/her own opinions, and tats where our blog comes in. I believe tat bloggin can help improve relationships, throw problems out of our minds, vent off frustrations, bring messages across and such, but still, it is but only personal, and in this i mean tat views being brought forward are all based on personal point of views. I like frankness, but den, i dun like loggin on and feel awkward or uneasy after reading new posts.. On the other hand, everyone should play their part in making sure tat everyone does everything right; its everyone`s responsiblity. If anyone is at fault, it will be definitely directed to everyone as a whole. On a more serious note, i really dun understand why there always must be such unnecessary TENSIONS, especially when there`re only 10 of us in it. If 10 really is a big enough number of ppl for such TENSIONS to be created, den it wouldnt be called a team at all. INSTEAD of criticising, can we at least FOR ONCE start encouraging? Tat would definitely be more constructive, especially since is bout 2 weeks more till the FO camp. Frankly, since the very beginning, i havent seen much encouragements or motivations, but more of rising tensions and criticism.

Lets all jus try to do our part, and in any event if we really see anyone straying, at least we try to bring them back by encouraging each other and motivate each other towards A COMMON GOAL, cos after all, its OUR LITTLE WORLD OF 10, and all of us are but brothers and sisters, or even laoPo-laoGongs. Let us continue to build this based on stable-pillars of 10, and not leave anyone behind.

UPDATE UPDATE!

It's a mere 11 more weekdays to FOCamp. I just realised it today, when my calendar caught my attention. I know that, GL trainings are tiring physically and mentally. But "always look at the bright side of life" all these trainings are sufficient in giving you an insight on how tiring and exhausting FOCamp is.

But the key thing is tht, you all must enjoy the whole process. If you don't enjoy it, you will only find it a chore and then you will soon begin to dread it.

Haha. Anyway, back to what I wanted to blog about. Its only 11 more weekdays, guys and girls. You know where your weak points are. We hve talked things out during our heart to heart talk. And I hope you all remeber what is said of you and try to change yeah. And please do your homework too.

anyway, i think that ytd game trial was a successful one..so every gl give urself a clap! oni at captain ball, some of us included me have used a harsher tone to train u ppl but hop u ppl don mind k? our intention was oso to help u guys play beta..if i hav hurt u guys in any way, i apologise..

Senior's Game Trail Accomplish! Little things in life.

Met up at 10am to have breakfast in school together, which the meeting time was spread by me to the rest of the GLs. Ironically, i was late. Ha! Arrived at 10.20am, i sincerely apologise to my lil` world of 9 ( minus 2 of the BiBiBaPehPoo whom arrive at 11am! *fingers up for you both! __* ) You know who EuuUuuU are! Ha! =X

I was tough and hrash during the captains ball training esp to Kelly and Mei Yu. I was like litterally scolding them " higher higher! Cannot Make it! Climax! The ball is very light! " Ha! I dun think Kelly minds it. However i aint sure for MeiYu's case. Ha! But, who cares!? As long as they improve. Hehs! - and i seen it =)

I wouldn't go into detail on what the game is really about as there will be other GL posting the details - I suppose. In my opnion, the first ping pong station was quite a success to us - DING DANGs. Ha! None of the lil` world of ten break down in this station which was said to have killed GLs from the previous batch. Good Job!

After which, we had to find Nasir somewhere "near" the library. The only clue given was left side staircase of library block. Ended up finding Nasir and Jing En somewhere close to the roof-top. Ha! Tsk tsk! Went to basketball court to have our next station - 160? 210? or 130? ( Which i dunnoe which was it) seconds Bu N.G! I was so stress at my station! Kept screwing myself up! Ended up the GLs had to restart everything. =X We accomplish it, no matter there are downfalls. Hehs. We still had our forfeit as usual even we completed our task.

The forfeit - Watermelon was given to us, Lawrence smash it with his bare hands on the ground and we ate ALMOST everything EVEN THOUGH it got squash on the floor. Buahahaha! YuMMy!

Lastly we played Captain's Ball with the seniors. MeiYu broke down - 1st time i seen it. Mark and I blasted some negative comments to each other which shocked Angela thinking we are about to CLASH. But it didnt happen, of cause! Ha! Kinda stress during the during the Captain's Ball, due to my die die win attitude. =X We managed to win 1 round out of like 4 rounds? Hehs. (Regreted not listening to Lao Po to bring shoes! Ended up having blisters and joint shocks. Ha! )

Lil` world of ten manage to seclude oursleves from the outside world and had a private "Buay Song (Negative Comments)" talk. No hard feelings yea? Its good able to know our irrtating, bad, stupid points of ourslves to change for the better! I got alot to say, i really do! But i just forgot what i wana say. Blessing in diguise for the rest, perhaps? Ha! Cause it was late, everyone is anxious to have dinner and return home. I will TRY to change! TRY only ah! Ha!

Senior Games Trial

Wondering y so emo these few days....

First thing, i must apologize to my dearest Lao po for failing to notice the fact that you are sick...
Second thing, hope that our relationship will be better( maybe modest couple)?
Third thing, sorry for being so emo, i hope i never broken any promises...

Games trial tomolo....

Well, i wish to share abit of how i feel, prehaps u guys can use as references...

1) I hope there will be no dispute in decisions made tomolo, dun blame each other if they are too hype up or on the verge of snapping. We should on the other hand, comfort them.

2) We are born to suffer forfeit, so why get hype up of trying to win, we should enjoy them process and do the forfeit also.

3) Hope you people dun bear any grudge with one another, there are no hating each other or personally felt one person dun like yourself.

4) We have people here feeling very independent(left out), but we should be supportive to each other like one rely on another. I begin to have this feeling everyone is drifting apart for dunno what reasons, it is very different from the beginning. Is it because we are too tired of seeing each other of like 5 Days a week that we drift apart? Dunno why...

5) I have this idea after entry of point 4). We shall have a sit-together-chat session someday. Location shall be the memorial, this will be one chance we tell the truth or feeling about each other, after that no hard feeling about each other, no grudge, only pure friendship, pure motivation to each other. We are everyone coming from different walks of life. We have different way of living but when come together, some might be in good term with each other, some might not know each other for long, but this gap close close in more. We should even declare each other brothers and sisters and may this bonding last. Only with strong bonds can we do things as one, think as one, share as one, suffer as one.

6) Hope you guys not think i m crapping. Haha, just wad i feel =D. We must not think that this Bonding is not important or even think that why bond? We go through FO camp and its over already, no need to see you guys already. Thats no the way lah. We should become best of friends and not bond for the sake of FO and afterwards forget ever bonding.

Finally, haha, we shall complete tomorrow's task with determination. Dun get upset if we lose or didnt finish the task. If we get screwed upside down, dun be afraid, face it like a man, i know everyone is supportive. If we can do all these, we might become the best GL team ever. Hope everyone can understand each other. Really, songs and stamina is important but what is ever-changing is one's thoughts. We shall not miss out this most important factor.

Felt very matured suddenly but i dunno, maybe is growing up....

Tomorrow is the senior's games trail!! Can't wait to get over and done with. =X Got no clue on what shit will they throw on us during the games trail. Mentally, physically or both, so be it. I fear them, I experienced, I felt the pain. Hope that my nipples and scrotum will left intact properly, my frustration side of me will not errupt during the games trail - it will be devastating. Apart from that, there are two good news that i know from my Lao Po. Firstly Shu Ting will not be around ( Phew! My nipples have higher % on surviving. ) Secondly, Tat Siong will be arriving after 4pm! Hope the 2 stations will end before 4pm. Thus, upon reaching 4pm when Tat Siong arrive we will be left with only the captains ball station. Ha!

I am posting because somehow I feel that we are getting pretty riled up with each other recently. I might have been part of the reason because somehow things have not been going on well at home. Hence, I tend to be out of focus during trainings and might have snapped at some of you without me knowing.

Let me tell you guys what happen to my family and what has been causing me to be peachy these few days at training so you all will understand the situation that I am in. Ok, its like these, my parents have been quarelling recently. And the D word have been brought out a few times already. For me as a kid (the oldest kid in the family) all the worrying about the family breaking up has fallen on me since my other sibling is the happy go lucky kind who probably feels that THIS will not affect him in any other way. But for a person (me) who has grown up for 18 years in a relatively peaceful family,such a situation really throws me off guard.

But I have since learnt to accept the fact that kids cannot do much in such a situation, nothing that we can meddle in. Lets just let the parents handle their own problems. What I can do is just to pray for everything to pass on and for GOD to give me strength that I wont break down. Especially so when FOCamp is around the corner and I am feeling the stress already.

Alot of people have been talking to me, offering me advices, tell me that its up to me whether I wanna listen and pick up on their advice or not. But sometimes, I feel stressful cos I am afraid that if I make the wrong move then I will just create this very big and possibly irreversible mistake.

I know that some of you might not agree with my type of leading and the things that I do. But please, no matter what you feel, please tell me because if you never feedback to me I will just live with this feeling that everything is ok and just continue with what I feel is right.

Anyway, I hope GLs have a sit down and heart to heart talk. Because like I said some of us are getting riled up with each other already. Let's be honest. You can feel the tension during GL training, esp the one ytd.

I have made my stand, its up to you to decide whatever feelings you wanted to have about me. I just hope that we can all throw away whatever feelings we have about each other and start afresh again. Just like how we were at the start of trainings. The happy, carefree us.

Haha. And remember that you all will be meeting at 12 on mon. Bring a fresh set of clothes to change ya?

I have got a new cheer that I wanted to teach you all. I just thought of it during lunch today. I shall post the lyrics her and teach you all how to sing it on mon. I have got this nagging feeling that the all stars will want a new cheer from us.

Fellow DINGDANGS!!! Went to WildwildWet 2 days ago(Thursday) for a day of fun, before proccedin to my house for DINNER! Hope you guys like the food my mom prepared!! I really was nice having all of you around and have dinner together.. especially at anyone`s home.. feels very homely, and as though we`re all one big family! Lets have this kinda gatherings more often, yeah?

Hey DingDangs.. i totally agree with wat Char says.. i jus have this nudging feeling some of us are drifting further apart.. Well, like wat i`ve always said, we`re all in a world of our own, and in this world of ours, nobody else can come in and break us apart.. there are only 10 of us in it! sometimes, some things are hard to share, but isnt tat the very reason why we`re supposed to be in a world of our own? If there are any problems, we can always find some time out to sit down and talk.. I certainly dun believe there isnt any spare non-training times for any of us to do that.. haa.. We have our own laopos and laogongs, and all of us are brothers and sisters.. We share each others burden regardless of how heavy it is.. anytime anyone falls, the rest well definitely help pick him/her up, and no one will be left behind!

This monday is our Seniors Games Trial liao!! haha.. lets embrace it and go through every station TOGETHER! After all, thats wat all that matters rite? Lets jus gif in the best, and remember there are 9 other ppl sharing all the spills and spoils and fun! haha.. JIAYOU!!

PHYSICAL TRAINING TODAY!!! We ran one round around the whole school campus! Running is my favourite! haha.. Moreover, I`ve got ppl running with me today!! SO HAPPY!! haha...

After the run, we went for lunch at FC4.. DAm! I forgot to take pictures there! But anyways, we went to play some ball games at the court, before goin to moberly for poll and table soccer! LAstly, we went to CityHall for dinner at Food Junction. PepperLunch was GREAT! =)

Our 1st Game Trial~~

Woots, you people out there should be curious wad in the world happened during game trial yesterday. Well i shall give an in depth explanation.....

1) God Damn Bus is so hard to catch and i reach the school late by 1/2 hour, we GLs have Roti Prata breakfast then wait for our game trial to begin outside the club.

2) Filled with absolute excitement when we are told to begin the trial. Shiok sia. 1st station is at the Basketball court. A group of 4 is being tied up at the legs, leaving us with like 5 legs. Then blindfold, put balloons in between our heads, then supposed to coordinate and walk to the end. First must pass the hula hoop test, must each person go through the hoop but thank god no more balloons. Then need to spin 5 rounds around a pole with everyone ( challenging).Finally must walk to a pail filled with sick liquid made out of water + soy sauce + chili + other stuff( Leaves, branches). Our objectives is to find the stuff told to us to find in the beginning of the obstacle race, there are a total of four items.
FORFEIT: Banana with Dark Soy sauce being pass through everyone only using mouth.

3)Yata, so is up to next station, at MLT2, haha, catch water balloons, some got red colour dye in the water balloon one. From only can stand in a small circle with everyone squeezed inside and catching the water balloons as the person haul them from the top of the slope, we modify into 2 per pail, we can run around but with hands touching the pail, catching the balloons and fill it to brim.
FORFEIT: Ping-Pong ball passed around only using mouth. Also being splash with water, until wet wet..

4)Then we proceed to the area beside FC3, the objective is to pick up rubber bands in a plate of flour using only tooth pick then passed all the way to the last person. There are two plate of flour, so got two person, then it will form a V shape formation then became a straight line towards the end. The All star really like to play sia, haha, they obstruct us using ball pumps and pump towards the flour, making us choke or irritated in the eye. My LG is revealed sia, they all poured flour inside lor, it hardened lah and so uncomfortable.
FORFEIT: Dance in a very slut-ish way and then seduce the station IC.

5)This game is at the field, is the 300 second challenge. Haha, comprised of around 7 mini stations, objective to complete within 5 min or 300 seconds. LOL. 1st Mini station is to spin 10 rounds around a stick, then run to the table to eat lemon slices before tagging other GL. 2nd GL will at that station, recite 3 tongue twisters
then tag 3 GLs at the 3rd station. 3rd station, swift command given by aother GL for a guy and girl GL, who are blindfolded, to move to a string tied with biscuits. They must bite on the same biscuit and eat it tgt. Finally tagging another GL, who then must catch 5 required colour water balloons. Then tagging the Next GL, who will look for POLO mint in a plate of flour, then next GL must blow a ping pong ball on a cup of water and make it skip 3 cups of water. Finally, we must tag the Last GL and he must stack cards to form a pyramid. Its tough but fun!!
FORFEIT: Tio PWNed lor, must drink crap drink mixture of lemon, flour, water, POLO sweet and i dunno wad...

6)Last Game of the 1st circuit game trial. XUETE. Run to W5 there and play the ... chair game. Diao, but i admit its fun, involve teamwork, the kias will enjoy this wet wet game.
FORFEIT: KAO, play with real EGGGGGs!!! Transfer the egg from one end of the pants to the other side, then must pass through the most private area lor, somemore ask girl do sia!! haha, We must admit All stars are pervertic but THATS IS WAD WE R LOOKING FOR!!! GMs CMON, u can do beta, be more pervertic( nt to extent of making us strip or anything). Whahah, the Egg broke and slide down my right leg, woooo, the smell is powerful...

----------------COMPLETION OF CIRCUIT 1-----------------------------

and its like 3pm liao -_-, we r bunch of hungry people, we did our dances and proceed to makan. I tell u i ate like i have nt eaten for years, finished a box in less that 5 min i think.

This part is played outside school compound. Haven decide where but is fun aso, haha.

1) W5 again, this time beta, is a game, u and a partner stick a balloon at one body part then walk straight, remember some weird names then climb up a chair and drop down to eat mentos from a plate of flour, then recite the names to the GM before u try to burst the balloon with that particular body part.
FORFEIT: Drink crap drink(Again, my stomach cant take it, gonna go purge), the drink is made of Mentos chunks + Coca-cola(lol the stupid internet experiment, they tried and the bottle is left with half of the Coke.) Then with more fun and luving, they added 7 eggs straight into the coke + i tink a bit flour??haha. I must admit its nt bad, Eggy and cokey feeling. ROFL..

2) We reached FC5, whahaha. This game is nice sia, WHEEL OF FORTUNE (or shuld i say wheel of mahjong tiles, we r like screaming mahjong tiles name when its spin.. ROFL!!) This game is, we spin the wheel, where it stop we will do the task designated to that colour on the wheel lor. Lucky colour is yellow, cause skip a task. Total must do 4 task to complete this game within 10 min.
LOL, we kana the treasure hunt( hunt for 2 photo in the whole big area of FC5), aso we r lucky to escape one task, we tio the wasabi biscuit(-____-)<===BOB, then aso have to balance biscuit with our nose touching each other's nose and spin 10 round b4 eating the biscuit. FORFEIT: I tink i the wasabi Teh O, lol, drink liao will purge even more lor, haha, i tink is this forfeit if i never forget. HEHE

3) The Captain ball event at the Field. BAH, the ball is now fruit, OMG....
Lucky for MeiYu, she took a lucky choice and we played with slimy bananas.. Diao, the moment we throw, the banana splattered at our hands. HAHAHA, so shuang. Then banana gone le, we used Nua Nua Doughnuts soaked in water!! haha Lawrence slap the doughnut and its gone!! HAHAHA, so no choice the use the ultimate weapon, PAPAYA!! Yes papaya, u have nt see wrong with yr puny little eyes. P-A-P-A-Y-A, they threw it like rugby lor, haha, again Lawrence defend and slash the papaya into pieces, then we have to play with the remains... haha, the papaya split into half then both side scored at the same time lor. HAHAHA. We punished the assistant IC with Papaya into his shirt and BUA his faces with the flesh.
FORFEIT: Lol, upside down eat banana pieces from the girls' mouth. EH, we do pumping and eat the fruit lor, haha. Looks like 69 but er... must move backward a few more steps. hehe

4) WOAH, the most pek chek game in the whole trial, but seriously i think it helps test whether the bonding and team work is there. Holla to charlotte, sorry for putting my hand so high, i almost scream at you, i wasnt touching the DAMN paper rod so is normal i am trying to reach it. No Hard feelings.
You see even we GLs, unite as one, is pek chek at this game. So i rate it the hardest game to play in the game trial ytd.
We are supposed to make a paper rod, touching it with the index finger and then lower it down to the floor and then back up again. One finger nt touching then have to redo. So in finding the solutions, suggestions may fly, disagreement follows, so really is a test of coordination. We shall not disagree with each other but try all solutions. WAD is forfeit, we are born to do them, so wad?? Haha, wad matters is to complete the task, and not fall into the Fall Out trap the GM set, this game is Highly intelligent, damn the GMs are smart.
FORFEIT: WOOTS, 10 wonders of the world, we are so happy at his round lor, everyone reveal their pervertic side, haha, the GM head make us do sex position and then one part of the body must stick to the other party's body part. Of course nvr involve the most private area but everything looks like one big orgy. HAHAHA, have fun though, everyone laugh it. I got boob attacked. HAHAHA. Then aso before that, they drew all over us with paint.

5) Last station le, super tired liao, this station is simply. Girls use straw, guys use spoon. Alternate between guy and gal, must tranfer water to the end into a cup. 3 cup into a cup. haha, fun sia budden along the way got mixture of phlegm gao and er... gao gao. Haha, they suck all the water into their mouth then transfer to the spoon!! HAHAH. So fun lah. We collected less than 1/10 of a cup of water, so shiok.
FORFEIT: HAHA, pervertic musical chair, the spin around the chair with the music, then the girl must sit on the boy face to face style and the girl paint the guy. Must alternate, cannot sit on the same guy twice. HAHA, we r like Geishas at the end lor. The we took the paint and slap onto the girls.

So tired, went to marina square to have BK with the seniors. We r Given instructions to assist the GMs, try to make the atmosphere high, Get pervertic, get kias to be hyped and accept the extreme ways of playing the game.

So scared, wad if we fucked up during the camp. So scary lor.
Anyway, GLs are there in the planet of 10.

Was thinking about things these few days. Aint it a gift to know and be a part of the planet of 10? And i have this emo feeling you know that wad will happen to us after FO? Go separate ways again, not like the mahjong days or gather often to go out?? Well i wish we will keep a part of that and go out once in a while will satisfy the emptiness. I actually missed every single day lor T_T, and i think i am damn sentimental. Guess wad, wheneva i passed by a particular place where we have once been, i would silly smile to myself just like Huat Jin did( hey hey, u know wad i m toking). Well, sweet memories shall be frozen in the original place where it happens and for us to remember. =D

SO GLs can we treat each other like Brothers and sisters and your Lao Po as your real honey bunchkins~~, protect them always, never quarrel, never suggestion clash, never hold grudges, never look down on one other, never be arrogance, never fight among ourselves, Keep the planet of 10 spinning in the lonely universe. HAHA

I have to admit Jiao Been have been show, and sometimes unknowingly did something wrong, like hurrying each other to complete the task( its wrong). Haha, so much have to be done. This 3/2 month will be the time to hide all that and face FO with nothing but a smile always.

YTD was so nice, the War Memorial at City Hall is so peaceful, no wonder the memorial is built there. Right at the junction of 4 cross roads. A jar in the middle of 4 stone structure. Wind from each direction blew straight at the four dragon head on the jar. Standing inside there, u feel a very peaceful feeling. We sat outside the structure and chat and chat. Knew each other better.=D
Dunno Huat Jin so sentimental and a love saint. No worries Huat, u go man, pursue the goal of your life.

SO here i end this happy yet EMO ending given by me. So looking forward to WWW on thursday. This is precious memories sewn into my heart, and tears sealed the wounds.
We can do it as one and make this camp a success, and remain best of partners, friends, companions ever.

PLEASE READ!!! THIS IS WHAT I FEEL OF YESTERDAY'S GAME TRIALS. DON'T SKIP IT COS ITS LENGHTY AH >=(

Ding Dangs. Firstly, I would like you all to give yourself a big round of applause for surviving game trial without much of a major breakdown nor did any of you all give black faces thou I know that at one particular some of us were close to giving up. But you all must bear this in mind. NO MATTER WHAT. EVEN IF YOUR KIA ARE ALL BREAKING DOWN AND GIVING UP. YOU AND YOUR LAOGONG/LAOPO MUST *NEVER EVER* GIVE UP.

We must never (or at least always be the last to) break down/cry/give up/give fucked up attitude UNDERSTAND? If we fall, FOCamp also falls and the whole one and a half month that we spent training, coming to school early in the morning, going home late at night, shouting until our voices are hoarse, falling sick as a result have GONE DONE THE DRAIN. I mean, if you can tolerate one and a half month of trainings, what is a 3D2N camp to you guys right? I believe you can do it. And I do not say it to "fu yan" you all and make yourselves happy.

What is the point of a few seconds of happiness now when, after the camp, you are not happy nor are you satisfied with your performance. Think of it this way, this 3D2N camp will be a reward for all the hardwork. We all work towards a goal. If there is no goal, then you are just wasting everybody's time and life.

And one thing that we must take note (thanks char for bringing it up)is, YES our arrogance I too, agree that when we met up with Audrey/Alex/Alvin for dinner we got a bit light headed with our achievements and to others, they might see it as bragging.

There is only a thin line between arrogance and being prideful of what one has done. Take note of that. I don't want history to repeat itself. I agree with Alvin. If we are to grade our performances today, it wouldnt be so good anymoe if we met the youknowwho from Zoo Challenge.

Okay. That's enough for today. I am glad that all of your cheers have improved. Keep up the good work and take care of youe health. For those who are injured because of game trials toda, please take care of the infected part and please keep yourseves hydrated. The weather not very good these few days.

im really glad for today! game trial was good. personally i felt that it is just like a bonding session. another training t bond us closer t one another. the test for our strength of bonding has not been done today either. although it had already sneaked a little peek at some of us in a particular station. though today was really fun and all, we really had a great time among ourselves(:

but one particular thing we must always keep in mind is our arrogance. we must constantly remind ourselves not t be complacent. our performance was only good today because of several factors. and we know why... yubbs.

sheesh. i sound like im being such a wet blanket :/ im sorry. but thats what i feel. in BK, during dinner time, the way we talked about our performance today seemed a little bit... just a little. though i must say, we really did put in the effort (: but if we are t suffer humiliation and the feeling of being picked on like what happened in the zoo by the youknowwho, are we able t take it? or even treated like dirt/(worse than)microbes.. such as being told off in front of many many other GMs.. will we still be able t keep a straight face? (not asking anyone t continue with a happy face, whoever does that can go and die, over-high :/ dont show the "cheow bin" luh..)

Travelling to school for GL's training had been piling fatigue. SP located at east, half of the GLs at east, half at west, only 2 in the north including me. The one whom located at north is Charlotte. However she takes the bus route instead of the MRT. Ha! Tmr same old routine! 1 hour of MRT to school for Games Trail. Good luck to all GLs. Hehs.

Being in the GL team is so much of a fun! There are twits, twerps, big mouth, skinny, dwarfs, giants, elder - you name it you got it in the GL team. Ha! All the male GL so big size except me. In desperate need for weight gainer powder formula. =/ Almost all GLs are good Mahjong karkis, except my dearest lao po CINDY and the ba kuet teh Angela. Ha! Lao Po always complain stress when playing with me. If never stress funny le, i keep on applying pressure to play on faster. ha!

eh.... really tired dun you people think? But i think its okay bah.

A lesson for our mentality to stay awake for many hours to come. We tried before at Kelly's house and now is Charlotte's place. Hey Charlotte!! Holla to you, your mama is so friendly, thank her for us yea? Hahaha, we practically mahjong all the way~~
I practically slacked at home that day, supposed to go reccee for the Food and Heritage event but no one is going so i also not going. Sorry Zi Rong, budden really i went to see doctor that morning, so close to a fever. Whahaha so i slacked and then set off at 3pm to Marina Square to meet my Lao po Angela at 4pm after she finished work then go Charlotte's place together. Lao Po lets bond more yea? I enjoy the bonding session with you!! (The doughnuts not bad)
Then on the way saw a 2 year old toddler. So cute lah~~ She like mimicking Angela's every move then Angela carried her and she did pull-ups on the handles. So strong!! She really hyper active and beautiful budden got one boy came desperate for a seat and took her seat when she was not sitting on it and SHE CRIED!! OMG almost lah, she is holding it back, her grandpa told her to 'chop' her place next time. So fun but we alight at Yio Chu Kang, she alight at Khatib, and she wanted to follow us lah, so cute.
Charlotte's mum came to fetch us, Thanks Aunt!! Chat for awhile and reached her house, so cool, a semi-detached, one storey and very spacious bungalow. Plus her garden is so chio, Charlotte's Room is sooooo Looooooong. The others like started mahjong-ing long long ago. Cindeeny went home liao when we reached there... So sad....
We have pizza that night provided by auntie( thanks again) and wonderful beehoon-cum-chicken wings( tasty). Then is mahjong-ing whole night, budden Angela, Mark and Kelly go home earlyT_T..
Then after a hellacious night, very tired, then morning we when back to school and have McDonalds breakfast before receiving songs tests by Kenneth. OMG, we got punished lor, haha but its okay, all we need is to brush up and memorize. Then we think of dance steps for our Wootsnified GL Ding Dang Song. I must say really surprised everyone is so engrossed until they forget everything. Haha, Charlotte got that dancing braincells( So enchanting...).
Hey everyone, felt a bit left out but its okay, everyone have fun can liao, so nice being together with you people lor. And Lao Po i am so Sorry i have affair outside (-_-) (stand in as Meiyu's Substitute husband, now she become my mistress )(-_-)

Haha. Very glad that you all were so enthu in the Phelgm - Gao tee shirt and name thingy. Hope that this enthusiam continues through out the whole gl training period and most importantly throughout FOC.

A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose.

Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to boil. In the first she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil, without saying a word.

In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl. Turning to her daughter, she asked, "Tell me what you see."

"Carrots, eggs, and coffee," she replied.Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to take the egg and break it. After peeling off the shell, she observed the hard-boiled egg. Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The
daughter smiled as she tasted its richness and savored its aroma.

The daughter then asked, "What does it mean, mother? "Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity - boiling water. Each reacted differently.

The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak.

The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened.

The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the
boiling water, they had changed the water. "Which are you?" she asked
her daughter. "When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are
you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?

"Think of this: Which am I? Am I the carrot that seems strong, but with
pain and adversity do I wilt and become soft and lose my strength?

Am I the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heat? Did I have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a breakup, a financial hardship or some other trial, have I become hardened and stiff? Does my shell look the same, but on the inside am I bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and hardened heart?

Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot water, the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavor. If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get even better and change the situation around you.

I know people, i have to say sorry first, i doze off during the mass chat happened, actually i shouldnt deny but i should say that its a tiring day in addition of the chalet, havent been sleeping, so will be a little tired, and also didnt doze of during the important parts of their speeches. Whahaha, people, i have did it!!! I am one of 5000 people who managed to get 罗志祥 aka Luo Zhi Xiang aka Show aka Alan Luo aka Xiao Zhu( little pig) 's Signature plus handshake. Cool sia, the people there are crazy over him!! The place was filled with MANY MANY people. And a scenario of how the place looked like at the time i reached.

You can see how Jia Lat is the situation is there, i aso met some bitches over there ranting non stop, even though Alan is their idol, they were scolding him for letting them wait. Wadeva vulgarities also spill out. LOL

The Signing starts and we are far behind waiting for our turn to come.

BTW i bought the gift on 10 Feb. I quickly rushed from Jurong Point down to Junction 8. The queue is long budden i managed to get through and get the signature. My friend was delighted and i became the star of the night. My effort put off when i was received by thunderous applauses from by classmates. I DID IT!!! haha, dun be jealous wor GLS, you all like who, nxt time the star is in town and jus nice your Bday is round the corner and so happens he/her signing event is in town, I will make it down there to get an album signed for you!!
